In the interest of full disclosure, Malaise Motors has always been bullish on Lincolns, after all, they’re what a luxury car should be. But, even a few years ago a solid 1992 Town Car like this one would’ve been merely a used car, trading hands in the $3,500-$4,500 bracket- or even less if you’re lucky. Meanwhile, this one at Hemming’s is being auctioned by a dealer and it’s been bid up to $7,500 (reserve not met). As of this writing, there are less than 7 hours to go on the auction.
What the reserve is and whether this formal cruiser will reach it is of secondary importance to the fact that it’s now getting action on a classic car auction site.
